Never got back into the blog yesterday. Craziness abounded. I fear that I've done some fundamental (and stupid) error, but we'll see. Fingers, lobes and nodes are crossed.

LadyTL says that there's going to be a burst of creativity from me. I hope so. My writing has suffered. After some copy editing, I'm going to write. Don't know what's going to come out of it, but that's part of the fun.

This morning the phone rang at 8AM. Gran'mere called; Mater and stepPater are in Japan. I hope the flight was very boring. Boring can be a wonderful thing.

This morning it rained like angels pouring out horse troughs. The water came so fast that the gutters couldn't handle it. Water sluiced over the edges, like some fancy wall of water sculpture in front of the bedroom window. HellKitty crouched on top of the little TV and glared at the water. She flinched every time the intensity of the water changed.

Now it's clear. Everything looks just-scrubbed. The blue of the sky makes the clouds seem more fluffy, more light. Sunlight makes the petals of the irises glow, golden-yellow and dark, velvet, violet. The yellow and violet clash together, yet they don't. Behind the colours, the fresh green of new plants grabs my attention. Amazing how many greens there are.

Enough. Perhaps a little jaunt around the backyard and on to copy editing. Then into algebra and geology. Just a wild woman.
