Madness, but the alternative is a non-starter.

I may be meeting D's mom this weekend, if time allows. I'm a little nervous, but in a meeting-a-stranger way. Not a meeting-my-uhm-boyfriend's-mom-for-the-first-time way. Well, maybe a little.
