As a necessary distraction from the madness, I picked up an anthology entitled What the Fuck?: The Avant-Porn Anthology. Edited by Michael Hemmingson (a.k.a. DJ Avant Pop), it's not your average written erotica. Deliberately confrontational, it's welcome relief from the tyranny of obligatory PC behaviour. Filled with experimental, unusual, funny and strange stories, WTF stretches the parameters of written porn.

However, I doubt that the newspaper would be happy with a review submitted for publication -- particularly for the "romance" issue. You've got to admit that it'd be mighty funny.
