Trying to play catch up -- yawp. Remind me that I'm not allowed to get sick anymore.

Yesterday was insane. I was up late writing articles for the newspaper. I set my alarm for 7 a.m. What time did I wake up? 6 a.m., of course.

I had a flash of how I wanted to open the screenplay that's faster, more expository and cheaper to produce. Then I thought of where I wanted the next scene to go. Having learned from the past, I got up and wrote everything down.

Of course, at a quarter to 7, everything was written and I could feel the magnetic lure of my bed. GADS!

One of my classmates mentioned the discovery of a neurological disorder that causes people to get up and write in the middle of the night (or something like that). If I remember correctly, it's related to depression.

That'd make sense, wouldn't it?

I'm off . . .
