Tried to do the no-caffeine thing this morning. There are still scrapes on the 'fridge door from when I clawed it open.

I've justified it by saying it's better to reduce, rather than go cold turkey--especially since pain's involved. Nicotine responds well to the quick pull of the adhesive bandage. Yeah, that's what I'll tell everyone. *laugh*

I was just outside, picking sweetpeas. Got divebombed by a hummingbird and a couple of bumblebees.

I love how bumblebees bumble. They have the ungainly sound of a B-52, and look just as odd as they hang in the air. It's as if, as they fly, they're saying okay, that looks good over there, whoa! look at that! no, what did the dance say? forward for 11 metres, left at the six cornstalks and, whoa, look at the pretty, huh? what? wow.
