Arthur Dent may have had trouble with Thursdays, but I can't seem to get Tuesdays. Not quite the beginning of the week, nor near the end. The day should be filled with efficient work sorts of things, but I'm lucky if I can walk and breathe. I don't dare try walking and chewing gum.

It's sunny today in the Pacific Northwest. I'm still grumpy about getting out of the house before the moon sets, but there are some moments of beauty. The first, faint glimmers of bluish-gold, pre-dawn light reaching into the sky. When it's clear, seeing the mountains capped with snow.

Today Mt. Hood was a chunk of midnight that'd fallen from the night before on a gold-coloured scrim. A couple of days ago, the mountain caught some low-slung, water-heavy clouds on its peak. Another day, it was invisible in the fog. Helps me to remember to look again and again at everything.
