Ahhhhh, Stumptown.

The weather has, so far today, been; foggy, sunny, drizzle, rain, sunny, torrential downpour, and now it's sunny again.

KaliHellKitty is at the window I opened. Her head is turning from side to side, and I can see her ribcage flutter as she catches scents.

I am in for a good wallow this afternoon. The library called and my five (5!) trashy romance novels arrived last Friday. Whee! I picked them up after work. Hmmm. We got yer time travel romance, rescued from a harem romance, being forced to wed against her will but falling madly in lust and then love with the intended groom historical romance, basic historical romance, and lastly, the time travel with gypsies romance. Am I embarrassed? Eh, only a little.

The Spartacus adventure didn't happen. We ended up going to see House of Flying Daggers which was disappointing. Beautiful movie; some lovely choreography (both of dance and martial arts), great costuming, vivid sets, sweeping cinematography...and a dissatisfying story. Oy.
