Boy, life is easier with the attitude change. Boy, it offends the crap out of some people. *grin* They do calm down after a bit of talking, thank goodness.

What is it with adulthood? Why do people buy the idea that it's all misery, agony, duty, and death? Yes, there are horrible things (see Crazy for Muffin's current case--jesu crist), but there are things of great beauty, courage, and joy (see the same).

We seem to be in such a hurry to get there, wherever that is, to see what's here.

I went over to a friend's last evening to do a little editrixing. When I got there, he'd made dinner. The smell of garlic and rosemary wafted from the kitchen. We ate on the front porch, as the sun set, a slight breeze jittered the windchimes, and blessed silence greeted the end of the day.

It was lovely.

Go. Be fabulous.
