It's grand to be home again.

For the past week I've been gypsying all over. There was social stuff, taking care of Mater's house, and over to D's (as often as possible).

It's been fun, but *whew* it's time to take a break.

Spent Saturday night in an auto body shop helping Tank paint the windows of his van. Now it looks as menacing as a mid-1980s van painted silver with burgundy stripes can. Blacked-out windows--yeah, we's rolling nerdy. I'm looking for retro-robot-patterned fabric to do the rear window curtains.

Spent New Year's Eve on D's sofa, watching Ace of Cakes, and sniffling. Yep, we both got wretched colds. Periodically his phone would buzz with a text message with new year wishes. I got a few myself, but had put my phone in the bedroom.

That's all. It's been a fairly nice, easy-going, stress-free holiday season. Can't ask much more than that, eh?
