I'm pissed off.

The Portland Archdiocese just declared bankruptcy in a transparent ploy to stop a trial concerning sexual misconduct by a now-deceased priest.

Bankruptcy?! My panties are in a bind, twist and knots. The idea that any part of the Catholic Church is in trouble financially is ludicrous.

I guess that's what happens when religion is co-opted for money and power, neh?
