Up with the birds (well, it's early for ME) at 8AM. Why can't I do that during the week?

The sun is out, and the sky looks freshly scrubbed. Big, billowy, blazing-white clouds against a sky so blue that it verges on miraculous.

Belly dance bra v.1.0 turned out, uhm, okay. I got the covering too tight so it's a bit lumpy. It isn't noticeable, except my boobs are gonna be bitching after a couple of hours. Going for v.1.2 in a bit.

Luckily found an old brassiere that lay forgotten in a drawer. If I get it re-engineered right, I might not even need any padding. That'd be nice.

My friend, TankGyrl, says that her man's band is coming through P-land in September. The Kings of Nothing. Or is that Nuthin'? I'm going to make a point of being there for the show. I've heard so much about this guy. I'm dying to meet him. TankGyrl says that I'll enjoy the music, too. Any band that travels with an upright bass AND piano is aces in my book. It's sheer bravado. *grin*

Watched a TERRIBLE soft-core porno last evening. Busty Cops, a tour-de-force of silicon bazoombas, pencil-line eyebrows, stripper platforms that never come off, frosted lipstick, and open mouths just waiting for something...it was a hoot. What redeemed it were the closing credits. They showed outtakes. From a cheap, softcore porn! *laugh* The best was one woman bitching. My favourite quote, "I'm not even a goddamned actress." The director said, "Yeah, don't quit your day job." She replied, "I don't have a day job." It was so funny and so sad.
