Spent about an hour this morning looking for my favourite wig. Call me a traditionalist, but to me bellydancers have long hair. Since I'm still growing mine out, it's wigs for a while. My favourite one is a half wig. The hair is bound to a headband. This is great, because dancing with a full wig is too hot. Passing out at the end of a performance would be upsetting, wouldn't it? I also picked out the belly dance drag--a vision in blues and silver and shiny, jingly bits.

Whee!

I hope (how appropriate) that everyone has a lovely 2005 filled with joys and plans and lots of lovely books to read and adventures to have.
