Yesterday afternoon was filled with odd occurences. Not zombies-coming-out-of-the-beauty-salon weird, but strange enough to make me hmm to myself.

1. While driving to my meeting last evening, the traffic on Rt. 26 was stopped by a dog loose on the road. Poor pup, a young sharpei, had been loose for a while. He was covered in mud and utterly terrified. I was fortunate to see him get off the main travel portion and head down an exit ramp with a parade of concerned dog lovers and cops escorting him.

2. Not one, not two, but three lightbulbs blew out on me. And every time it was; flip on switch, flash of light, a little *fizzle*, and the summer storm smell of ozone.

3. Is there a new movement calling for the tipping of hats at women? Three different men tipped their hats at me yesterday. Gracious.

Like I said, not world-shattering weird, just unusual.

Harrumph.

Went to the Broken Words reading last evening. (Every Tuesday, Alberta Street Pub, 7:30PM) Got there late, so I didn't get to hear everyone read. What I did hear was interesting.

Back to the house and on to bed.

Oy.

Go. Be fabulous.
