It's amazing how empowering knitting can be. Last night I knat (exciting, new, past tense of to knit--whaddya think?) some more of a friend's fingerless glove. He challenged me to knit in a skull on the back of the hand.

I rock.

Not only did I remember how the hell to do intarsia, but I graphed out the skull, and it's only slightly misshapen.

And I got the damn thumb gussets figured out.

Still rather pissed, but combatted it last night by reading Kiss My Tiara or How to Rule the World as a Smartmouth Goddess by Susan Jane Gilman.
