This weekend, in short:

Surprise birthday party with an Abraham Lincoln theme. You haven't lived until you've walked into a house with more Lincolns than you can shake a maraca at. The pin-the-mole on Abe was a hit. As was the home-made, Lincoln head pinata that went down with a bang and a crackle.

Finally saw Ilsa, She-Devil of the SS. Can't say it was my cup of tea. I prefer simple B&D with a dash of whap! oooooo--not so much the mutilation. Also, it was filmed on the same sets as Hogan's Heroes. Having watched that show every weekday as a kid...EEP!

On the other end of the blue movie continuum, I watched a collection of Betty Page shorts. Beautiful woman. Dancing was a foreign language to her. Even allowing for the crappy syncing of music, her moves are as alluring as a bag of wet sand. I understand, those were different times. What was considered risque then is quaint and almost innocent today.

Went up to the 'Couv to get Miyumi's belly pierced. Smooth as a rabbit's butt. Mater went along as hand-holder and translator. Miyumi speaks English, but conversational language is still rough. Christy at Dragonfly did a beautiful job; professional, informative and friendly. Miyumi was so giddy that she got the cartilage on the top of her right ear pierced as well. There was even loose talk of Mater getting her nose pierced. *grin* Didn't happen, but wouldn't that have been fun?

Cooking chicken curry. Up for a wild evening of reading and watching the other DVDs I rented. Nothing naughty. I think.

Harrumph.

Go. Be fabulous.
