Getting out of work at 13:00 was a treat. I dashed to the grocery store, picked up some essentials, and went home. Got into my scruffiest jeans and t-shirt, threw on my nastiest, oldest sneakers and walked to the park. Found a bench in a bit of shade and settled in.

I just got back. Spent most of the afternoon reading and watching the natives be giddy about the sunlight. There's a community garden set up at one end of the park. Gardeners dug and delved.

It's so pleasant watching other people work.

Now I'm all about fixing some supper. Reading some more. Watching Stray Cat Rock: Sex Hunter and getting to sleep.

Ahhhhhhhh.
